That Place: Self Catering House
About That Place
Plettenberg Bay: The Crags – MMIVThat Place is situated in The Crags, on it’s own private wine farm, That Wine Demesne, just 19km outside the popular coastal town of Plettenberg Bay. It’s a comfortable, friendly home where you can spend a good, relaxing holiday. Wide balconies show forest and pastoral views, rich bird-life,and, if you are lucky, elephants wandering through their paddocks across the valley! The house has an open-plan design, with a free-flow of movement from the outside deck areas into the main living space. The kitchen is well equipped and forms an integral part of the dining and lounge area – the chefs are never alone. The lounge has comfy couches, TV with Dstv (always important for those sporting and cultural “don’t-miss” events) lots of DVD’s and music CD’s, games, and a real holiday bookcase! This three-bedroomed house has 2 levels. Two bedrooms upstairs: The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. The children’s bedroom – with lots of teddies, toys, games and again, LOTS of books. The second bathroom is next door with shower. The third & most private bedroom is outside, downstairs – with it’s own private balcony and essential reading matter, of course. On those balmy African evenings or even during inclement weather, the undercover stoep makes a jolly place to relax and cook a traditional braai (BBQ) with the long wooden table a perfect setting for that delicious meal. Or, spend lazy hours on the deck, listening to the bird life, or thinking of nothing in particular. The swimming pool and sauna are surrounded by trees and a fence (so safe of our junior guests). The pool is about 4x5m and 1,8m deep with a shallow step for children to wallow around on. There are deck loungers and cushions, toys for the pool, umbrella for a bit of shade and a space for playing boule (no cheating!) behind the pool. Linen and towels supplied, Undercover parking, Private, gated garden Wi-fi. Directions: 19km east of Plettenberg Bay, travelling on the N2 in the direction of Port Elizabeth. At the Bramon Wine Estate signs, turn off the highway and follow the signs to That Place.
